J'ai eu l'occasion de pouvoir expérimenter la sérigraphie à la Chapelle des Calvériennes à Mayenne. J'ai découvert les différentes étapes comme faire la recherche colorée et la fabrication de la peinture moi-même. Mais également comprendre le fonctionnement précis de ce processus qui est très intéressant. J'ai pu ainsi voir les limites les défauts et les avantages pour pouvoir les ré-utiliser en cours de prochains projets.
Le thème de ce workshop était le fantasmagorique. J'ai choisi de travailler sur une composition du logo de l'application SNAPCHAT. Cette application permet de prendre des clichés éphémères qui relatent notre quotidien. Cependant on peut noter cette application a engendré des comportements très égocentriques en popularisant notamment le selfie. Ainsi les productions questionnent la relation qu'entretiennent ces personnes avec ce type de photographie.
I had the opportunity to experiment serigraphy at the "chapelle des Calvériennes" in Mayenne. I discovered the different steps such as researching colors and making the paint myself. I could thus understand the precise process as well as the limits, the defects and the advantages of the technique. I will be able to use that in my own projects.
The topic of the workshop was "phantasmagoria". I chose to work on a composition of the little ghost of the famous application: snapchat. The application allows taking ephemeral photographs which show the everyday life. However, we can notice that that application generates egocentric behaviors by popularizing the "selfie". In this way, my production questions the relationship between people and that kind of photography.
